The Artificial Intelligence Supported Data Analytics Office was established within the Izmir Planning Agency (IZPA) to develop innovative and data-driven solutions to urban challenges. The office leverages artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics to support Izmir’s transformation into a sustainable, resilient, and inclusive city. Through a data-driven approach to urban planning, it delivers fast, effective, and strategic solutions to emerging challenges. By integrating diverse data sources, the office establishes and continuously enhances a comprehensive data ecosystem to guide Izmir’s future planning initiatives.

Data Access and Transparency 

The Artificial Intelligence Supported Data Analytics Office supports open data and free software endeavours to make data accessible, transparent and actionable. In this way, local governments, citizens and other stakeholders can make data-driven decisions. In addition, the office contributes to the realisation of innovative and effective policies for urban problems by developing strategic decision support systems. In line with agile governance principles, the office's projects are designed to be flexible enough to respond quickly to real-time urban problems.
