"What Kind of Izmir?" workshops continue: Food and Agriculture

The second workshop in the “What Kind of Izmir?” series was held on 25 November 2024 at the IzQ Entrepreneurship Centre, focusing on the theme of "Food and Agriculture." Moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dalya Hazar and Gökçe Küçük, the workshop explored food and agricultural policies in Turkey and Izmir, addressing current concerns, future expectations, and innovative practices that deserve preservation. Discussions were guided by the Three Horizon Planning framework.

Participants shared their suggestions for developing a more resilient, sustainable, and equitable structure for Izmir’s agriculture and food policies. The workshop concluded with evaluations of the study outputs, offering valuable insights for future strategies.

The next workshop in the series will focus on “Basins and Marine Ecosystem.”
